David Foster
David Walter Foster, OC, OBC ( born November 1, 1949 in Victoria, British Columbia) is a Canadian songwriter, producer and composer. He is a 15-time Grammy winner and was nominated 44 times.
Life
David Foster was born the son of Maurice and Eleanor Foster in 1949 in Victoria.
1991 married David Foster Linda Thompson, with whom he wrote many songs (including from the movie " The Bodyguard ", also some songs for the serviced by Foster artists). It is already Thompsons second marriage; with her ex- husband, the athletes Bruce Jenner she has two sons, Brody and Brandon Jenner. The marriage ended after the recording of the series "The Princes of Malibu " which ran in the U.S. TV. Now David lives with Yolanda Hadid.
His daughters are: The actresses Erin and Sara Foster, Amy Foster - Gillies, who co-wrote, among others, Michael Bublé's hit " Everything" and "Home " and Josh Groban's "Home To Stay ", Allison and Jordan Foster.

In the 1980s, Foster committed itself very persistent in the genre of film music and his soundtrack to Ghostbusters and Footloose were certified platinum. Also composed by him " Love Theme " from the movie St. Elmo's Fire made him world famous, his song I have Nothing from the movie " The Bodyguard " was nominated for an Oscar.
Productions
He produced the debut CD by Josh Groban, Renee Olstead, The Corrs and Michael Bublé. In addition, he was described as " executive producer " ( " executive " ) in John Stevens ' first album " Red" noted.

Skylark
As a keyboardist he had in 1972 with the band Skylark to hit 'Wild Flower', which was the number one in the Canadian charts.
The group initially consisted of singer BJ Cook, Foster, guitarist Doug Edwards, drummer Duris Maxwell, Percussion player Carl Graves, singer Donny Gerrard and bassist Steven Pugsley. The members changed, however, more often; Kat also Hendricks, Brian Hilton, Allan Mix, John Verner and Norman McPherson belonged to the group during the band years.
