David Graham (tennis)

David Graham ( * August 4, 1962 in Newcastle, New South Wales ) is an Australian former tennis player.

Life

Graham was the early 1980s, professional tennis player. He specialized in the men's doubles in 1983 and reached his first doubles final on the ATP World Tour. The following year he won his first doubles title in Newport. His second and last title followed in 1985, both on the side of Laurie Warder. In addition to its two double tracks he stood two more times in a final. Its highest listing in the tennis world ranking he reached in 1983 with position 324 in the individual as well as 1984 with position 46 in doubles.

Only once he was able to qualify for a Grand Slam tournament, in 1982, he failed in the first round of Wimbledon. In the doubles competition, he reached in 1983 on the side of Laurie Warder the semifinals of the Australian Open, but subject to the eventual tournament winners Mark Edmondson and Paul McNamee in two sets.
