David Henry Wilson

David Henry Wilson ( born 1937 in London ) is a British children 's and teen book author.

Life

After studying at the Dulwich and Pembroke College, Cambridge, he worked as a teacher in France, Ghana and Germany. At the University of Konstanz, he was academic Oberrat and founded a student theater. He also taught at the University of Bristol.

David Henry Wilson is married and has three adult children. He lives in Taunton, Somerset. His plays have been performed in England, America, Germany and Scandinavia.

Works

Jeremy James is the hero of children's books, which Wilson wrote in 1977. The books have the title:

In the British original books published by Chatto and Windus Ltd.. London, and later at Pan Macmillan Children 's Books, London. The German edition was released by the Friedrich Oetinger Verlag in Hamburg. The illustrations and the cover are by Peter Schössow, in later volumes of Eva Czerwenka.
