David Hungate

David Hungate (* August 5, 1948 in Texas) is an American bass guitarist and former member of the California rock band Toto.

David Hungate is one of the six founding members of Toto (1977 ), but increased at the peak of the success of this band (1982 ) and henceforth worked as a session musician, and others for Boz Scaggs, Greg Lake and Bryan Adams.

Prior to joining Toto Hungate had already - also as a session musician - collaborated with renowned musicians such as Barbra Streisand and the Pointer Sisters.

TOTO For the 2014 tour in the U.S. David Hungate was hired as Bassis, as the former Bassist Nathan East is prevented by other projects.
