David Ivry

David Ivry (Hebrew דוד עברי; * 1934 Gederah ) is an Israeli diplomat and former commander of the Israeli Air Force.

Ivry came in 1952 with the Israeli Air Force. From October 1977 to December 1982 he was the ninth commander of the Israeli Air Force. In 1999, the Bar - Ilan University awarded him an honorary doctorate.

From 2000 to 2002 he was the Israeli ambassador to the United States. In 2003 he was President of Boeing Israel.
