David James Elliott

David James Elliott ( born September 21, 1960 in Milton, Ontario; actually David William Smith) is a Canadian actor.

Life and achievements

Elliott was born as the second of three sons of Arnold and Patricia Smith as David William Smith. He grew up in his birthplace of Milton, but spent a lot of time in the Bahamas with his father's relatives, who had moved from there to Canada.

As a teenager, David James Elliott enthusiastic about rock music. He was the frontman of a band, and left in his senior year of high school to pursue his dream of a music career. Since the success hoped for did not materialize, Elliott returns at the age of 19 years at the high school and graduated. There he was informed by a teacher on his acting talent.

Subsequently, he attended Ryerson University in Toronto. After an audition for the Stratford Shakespearean Festival in Stratford (Ontario), he was a member of the Young Company ( Young troupe ), where he worked for the next two years. His first major role was Elliott in the legal drama Street Legal.

1990 Elliott moved to Los Angeles, where he took the stage name of David James Elliott as a David Smith was registered at that time in the Screen Actors Guild already.

The German public is Elliott primarily for his role as Harmon Harm ' Rabb Jr. in the television series JAG - known Call of Duty. After the end of JAG (2005 after 10 seasons ) Elliott played the role of District Attorney DA in the CBS series Close to Home James Conlon.

David James Elliott is married to actress Nanci Chambers since 1992. They have two children.
