David King (chemist)

Sir David King ScD, FRS ( born August 12, 1939 in South Africa) is a British- South African researchers, research managers and policy advisors.

He is director of the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment at the University of Oxford, Research Director in the Department of Physical Chemistry at the University of Cambridge, Director of the Collegio Carlo Alberto, Chancellor of the University of Liverpool and a major science advisor for UBS. He was chief science advisor to the government Elizabeth II under both Tony Blair as Gordon Brown and chaired the central science office from 2000 to 2007. Climate change is one of his favorite topics. The established with an investment of one billion pounds of British Energy Technologies Institute in Loughborough goes back to King.

Climate change and global warming he considers more important than international terrorism and therefore we support the increased use of nuclear energy.
