David Kitt

David Kitt ( born 1975 in Dublin) is an Irish musician.

Life

Kitt began at a young age in order to play the guitar and recorded at the age of ten original songs on a tape recorder on.

His musical career began while studying music at Trinity College, Dublin. He performed regularly in bars and pubs. At the same time he collected song material for his first album Small Moments, which he recorded for the most part at home and that was not thought according to his own statement in this form as a publication. The mix of acoustic music with subtle, folksy Irish elements and electronics attracted great interest of the local press and the music industry, which earned him a solid record deal.

In 2001 he released his second album (The Big Romance ), which was published throughout the UK and made him well known outside of Dublin. In the following time he stepped on the opening act for bands like Tindersticks and Superfurry Animals.

2002 published his two albums in the German speaking countries.

In 2005 he toured with Emilíana Torrini through Europe.
