David Konstant

David Every constant ( born June 16, 1930 in London) is retired Bishop of Leeds.

Life

David Every constant received on 12 June 1954, and was ordained priest incardinated in the clergy of the Archdiocese of Westminster.

Paul VI. appointed him on March 28, 1977 Auxiliary Bishop of Westminster and Titular Bishop of Betagbarar. The Archbishop of Westminster, Cardinal Basil Hume George OSB, consecrated him on April 25th of that year to the bishop; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops in Westminster Gerald Mahon MHM and Victor Guazzelli.

On 12 July 1985 he was appointed Bishop of Leeds and introduced into the office on September 25th of that year. From his office he resigned on 7 April 2004.
