David Leisure

David Russell Leisure ( born November 16, 1950 in San Diego, California) is an American actor.

Life

Leisure studied art at the San Diego State University and shared at this time the room with the late actor Robert Hays. He initially joined at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, moved to Los Angeles in 1980 and took his first film role in the ZAZ comedy film The Incredible Journey in a crazy space ship; his friend Robert Hays played the lead role. Also in the sequel Leisure had a small role here.

After guest appearances on television shows such as Falcon Crest and Sledge Hammer! he received a starring role in the series Harry's nest, in which it was a spinoff of the series The Golden Girls. The role of Charlie Dietz he played from 1987 until 1995 in 170 episodes of the series, as well as in two episodes of The Golden Girls and Hello sister! His feature film roles include appearances in The Brady Bunch, 10 Things I Hate About You, as well as Fallout - danger from space. Since 2009 Leisure plays in the CBS soap opera Young and the Restless.

Leisure is in the USA for his work in several national television commercials known, especially in the role of Joe Isuzu in spots of the Japanese automaker Isuzu, which were re- aired between 1986 and 1990, and from 1999 to 2001. He is married to his third wife and has two children.
