David Levy (Israeli politician)

David Levy (Hebrew דוד לוי; born December 21, 1937 in Rabat ( Morocco) ) is an Israeli politician of the Likud and a leading representative of the Sephardic Jews in Israel. Levy was in ten governments Minister for various departments and had from 1969 to 2006 a seat in the Knesset.

Life

David Levy was born on December 21, 1937 at Rabat, Morocco. In 1957 he immigrated to Israel and was settled in Beit She'an.
