David Lorenz

David Lawrence ( born March 21, 1856 in Ogrosen, † April 5, 1907 ) was a German painter.

Life

Lorenz lived 32 years in Ogrosen, afterwards he moved to Nuremberg for eight years and then lived up to its end of life again in Ogrosen. From there come his motives ( was the now demolished) of which particularly the image of the mill of Ogrosen far beyond the Spreewald, it is known.

Some of his paintings were exhibited even after his death at the Great German Art Exhibition and the House of German Art.
