David Navas
David Navas Chica ( born June 10, 1974 in Ávila ) is a Spanish former road bicycle racer.
1996 David Navas won the Vuelta a la Comunidad de Madrid. Two years later, he was taken by the Spanish cycling team Banesto under contract. In 1999 he completed his part einzigern start in the Tour de France, which he finished on the 98th place. The following year he won the prologue of the Tour of Minho. He then moved to Colchon Relax- Fuenlabrada, but returned after a year back to his old team, which now drove under the name Illes Balears. In 2004 he was one of the team that chose the team time trial at the Vuelta a Castilla y León for themselves. From 2006 to 2007 he rode for the French ProTour team AG2R Prévoyance, then he stepped back from cycling.
