David Parfitt
David Parfitt (born 1958 in Durham ) is a British actor and film producer.
Life
Parfitt was seen in 1971 as an actor for various television productions. In the late 1980s he gave up acting in favor of the film production. In addition, he has worked as a theater producer.
1998 belonged to Parfitt producer team of Shakespeare in Love, and received for this year later the Academy Award for Best Picture. He also won a BAFTA Film Award and Golden Satellite Award.
For the production of King George - A Madness of 1996, he was with the Alexander Korda Award for Best British excellent film.
In 2000 he co-founded the production company Trademark film.
