David Robertson (conductor)

David Robertson ( born July 19, 1958 in Santa Monica, California) is a well-known, especially in the United States conductor and interpreter of contemporary music.

Biography

He was educated at the Royal Academy of Music in London. It included the courses horn, composition and conducting. David Robertson is also dedicated to the promotion of students among other things, the Paris Conservatory and the Juilliard School of Music. The " Musical America " named him the " Conductor of the Year 2000 '.
