David Ryckaert III

David Ryckaert ( born December 2, 1612 Antwerp, † November 11, 1661 ) was a Flemish painter.

Biography

David Ryckaert was a pupil of his father, the same name and then formed after Adriaen Brouwer. Later Ryckaert joined in the studio by David Teniers and his son.

In their type Ryckaert created numerous derbhumoristische genre paintings from the farmer and tavern life and still life with wider and stronger coloristic treatment.
