David Schlemko

David Schlemko ( born May 7, 1987 in Edmonton, Alberta ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since 2007 in the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

David Schlemko played during his youth from 2002 to 2004 for the Knights of Columbus Pats in the Alberta Midget Hockey League and three years thereafter for the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League. During this time he won with the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Ed Chynoweth Cup. After he had exceeded the age limit for the junior team in the summer of 2007, the defensive player was taken as a free agent by the Phoenix Coyotes under contract. The Canadian was sent directly to the Arizona Sundogs in the Central Hockey League, where he once fought his way to a starting place and also as a template donor exhibited. In the play-offs, the Sundogs prevailed and won the final series to the Ray Miron President's Cup in four games against the Colorado Eagles.

In the same season Schlemko completed a game for the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League. The following year, the defender was fixed in San Antonio in use and there was one immediately to the service providers. Even during the 2008/ 09 season debut of Canadians for the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League. The following season the defender spent mostly in the AHL with the San Antonio Rampage, but received more ice age when the Coyotes and was standing at end of season 17 appearances in the NHL to book.
