David Slade

David Slade ( born September 26, 1969) is a British film director and former journalist.

Life

Slade began his artistic career with the realization of commercials and music videos. In this role, he produced countless works of artists such as Aphex Twin ( " Donkey Rhubarb " ), Rob Dougan ( ' Clubbed to Death " ), Stone Temple Pilots ( " Sour Girl "), Tori Amos ( " Strange Little Girl) ", and four works for muse ( " Hyper Music ", " feeling Good ", " Bliss ", and " New Born " ), which have also been awarded several times.

Mid-2000s, he expanded his field of activity and filmed for the first time, the U.S. film production company Lions Gate Films a full-length feature film, the psychological thriller Hard Candy, which premiered in January 2005 at the Sundance Film Festival. His directorial debut was nominated for several national and international awards. Followed in 2007 with the vampire movie 30 Days of Night, a comic book adaptation based on a work by Steve Niles and Ben Templesmith, his second feature film starring Josh Hartnett and Melissa George in the lead roles.

His next directorial effort was the third part of the Twilight saga, Eclipse - Bis (s ) Eclipse; which appeared in June 2010. He then led in Breaking Bad for the first time in an episode of a series Director. In March 2012, NBC announced that he will take over the government in the pilot episode of the series adaptation of Hannibal. On 8 May 2012 Wayfare Entertainment announced that Slade will direct the action thriller Villain.
