David Valadao

David Valadão ( born April 14, 1977 in Hanford, California) is an American politician. Since 2013 he represents the state of California in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

David Valadão attended to 1995 Hanford High School. Between 1996 and 1998, he graduated from the College of the Sequoias. Since then, he worked in agriculture and especially in the field of milk production. He is managing a dairy company, which he runs together with his brothers. He was a member of the California Milk Advisory Board and several other associations of the dairy industry. At the same time he proposed as a member of the Republican Party launched a political career. Between 2010 and 2012 he sat as a deputy in the California State Assembly, where he was a member of the Agriculture Committee, the Budget Committee and the Handelsauschuss.

In the congressional elections of 2012 Valadão was in the 21st electoral district of California in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he succeeded Devin Nunes took on January 3, 2013, who moved in the 22th district. Valadão won the election with 59.9 percent of the vote to Democrat John Hernandez.

David Valadão is married and father of three children. The family lives in Hanford.
