David van Zanten

David van Zanten ( born May 8, 1982 in Dublin) is an Irish football player.

Career

Van Zanten is the son of a Dutch father and an Irish mother. First, van Zanten played the Irish amateur club Tolka Rovers from Dublin's Glasnevin. In 1999, the Irishman in the Scottish League to Celtic, but here could never prevail and so his contract was dissolved in 2003. In 2003 he moved to FC St. Mirren. In 2006 he was able to rise with his club in the Scottish Football League First Division in the Scottish Premier League. In the summer of 2008, van Zanten joined Hibernian Edinburgh. After engagements at Greenock Morton Hamilton Academical and the defensive player joined in the summer of 2010 the FC St. Mirren. van Zanten signed a temporary two -year contract with the Saints.
