Davide Astori

Davide Astori ( born January 7, 1987 in San Giovanni Bianco ) is an Italian footballer who is since 2008 in Cagliari Calcio in Serie A under contract.

Career

Association

Davide Astori began his career in the youth of AC Milan. For the season 2006/ 07 he was awarded for AS Pizzighettone in the Serie C1, where he was able to establish himself as a regular player and also achieve his first goal as a professional player. In the following season he was loaned to the U.S. Cremonese, who also plays in Serie C1. Even with Cremonese managed to fight for a regular place. In July 2008 he transferred to Cagliari Calcio, where he collaborated with Federico Marchetti and Andrea Lazzari introduced the new jerseys the team to the public on July 14. In his first season with the Sardinians he could not impose a regular place and received ten appearances in Serie A. In the season 2009/10 he has imposed on himself and already was at the beginning of the season a regular place in the defense of Cagliari fight.

National

Astori played in the Italian U-18 national team, for whom he played four games.

On August 6, 2010 Astori was appointed to the levy of the Italian national team for the friendly against the Ivory Coast on 10 August 2010. His debut for the Azzurri he finally gave up on 29 March 2011 in an international match against Ukraine, which won Italy 2-0.
