Davide Baiocco

Davide Baiocchi ( born May 8, 1975 in Perugia) is an Italian football player at the position of midfielder. He currently plays for U.S. Siracusa.

Career

Growing up in the youth department of Perugia Calcio, he debuted in the 1992/93 season at fifth-tier AS Gubbio 1910 in Series D and completed during the calendar year 1995 his first professional assignments in Perugia Calcio in Serie B. However, in subsequent period he was at some clubs loaned to gain experience there. In 2000, Baiocchi returns to Perugia and fought there a regular place. In the 2002/03 season he was bought by Juventus, where he hardly is used because of lack of confidence of the coach and the strong competition. He was awarded in January to Piacenza and then sold to Reggina Calcio. In 2004 he returned to Perugia, where he played one season in Serie B. From the 2005 season played for Baiocchi Catania, where he succeeded in 2006, the rise in the Italian Serie A. He quickly became the all-time favorite player of the Sicilian fans, so he was elected captain in 2007. 19 April 2009 Baiocchi completed his last game for Catania, after he had announced that he must go, despite the love for this club, to avoid further problems with the board.

In the summer of 2009, Baiocchi Brescia Calcio joined in Serie B, with whom he made ​​the ascent in the season 2009/10.
