Davide Taini

Davide Taini (born 7 December 1976) is a Swiss football player. He plays the position of goalkeeper in the Super League hopefuls Grasshopper Club Zurich.

Career

Davide Taini moved during the summer break in 2001 by Winterthur FC to FC Zurich. After one year, Taini prevailed as the No. 1 of the city clubs against Miroslav king. After two years as a regular player he had the distinguished Johnny Leoni left his place.

From the season 2006/ 07 Taini played for FC Wil, where he was first-choice goalkeeper to the 2010/11 season. By the way, he teaches sports at the vocational school in Winterthur.

2011 Taini got another chance to play in the Super League and returns with it to his youth club Grasshopper Club Zurich as number 2 behind Roman Bürki back.
