Davignac
Davignac ( Davinhac in Occitan ) is a commune of 240 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Corrèze, in the Limousin region. The municipality is a member of the Association of Municipalities Ussel - Meymac - Haute- Corrèze. The inhabitants call themselves Davignacois (it).
Geography
The municipality is located in the Massif Central on the Plateau de Millevaches and thus also in the Regional Natural Park Millevaches en Limousin.
Tulle, prefecture of the department is located, about 40 kilometers south-west, Égletons about ten kilometers southwest and Ussel about 20 kilometers north-east.
Neighboring communities of Davignac are Ambrugeat in the north, Meymac in the northeast, Maussac in the east, Soudeilles in the south, Péret -Bel-Air in the southwest and Bonnefond in the West.
The municipal area is crossed by numerous streams and small rivers, including the Dadalouze, a tributary of the Corrèze and the Soudeillette, a tributary of the Luzège.
Traffic
The village is located about ten kilometers north-east of exit 22 of the A89 autoroute.

Attractions
- The church of Saint Saturmin, a religious building from the 15th century with a remarkable altarpiece from the 17th century. The building is classified as a monument historique since 1967.
- The Chapel of Our Lady from the 13th century, with paintings and sculptures from the 17th to 19th centuries.
