Davon Jefferson

Davon Jefferson ( born November 3, 1986 in Lynwood, California) is an American professional basketball player. Currently, he plays in the Russian PBL for BK Yenisei from Krasnoyarsk.

Career

College

Jefferson was enrolled at the University of Southern California since 2006 and devoted himself primarily in his first year of college studying. It was only from the second year he was regularly used in the high school team Trojans in the NCAA. He was then elected to the " All- Freshman First Team" of the Pac -10 Conference of the NCAA. Jefferson could be after this one 2008 set directly on the list for the Entry Draft of the NBA and was still not selected.

Professional time

In the same year Jefferson signed his first professional contract with Maccabi Haifa in the Israeli Super League. With Maccabi he reached the final of the Israeli Cup and finished third in the Israeli championship. At the start right in the ULEB Cup Maccabi has however omitted. After his move to ASVEL 2010 Jefferson denied beside the French championship, the first games in the ULEB Euro League. After only one year in France Jefferson moved into the Russian PBL to triumph Ljuberzy. In addition to the Russian championship in 2012, he was elected to the All- Season MVP, he reached the quarter-finals of the Triumph Baltic Basketball League and the 3rd place in the FIBA Euro Challenge, 2012.

In the summer of 2012, he was active for a few games in Guangzhou in Liu Sui Whampoa in the infra- Chinese Basketball Association Chinese National League. In late November 2012, he finally returned to Russia, but remained in the Asian region, and plays ever since for Yenisey Krasnoyarsk.
