Davor Kus

Prior Kus ( born July 21, 1978 in Rijeka, Yugoslavia ) is a Croatian professional basketball player. He is 1.92 m tall and plays on the position of guards.

Playing career

Prior Kus his professional career began in 1995 in Rijeka, the local association of Susak. He moved in 1996 to Rijeka Croatia Line and remained there until the game season 1998 /99. Starting with the 1999/00 season he moved to city rivals Sava Osiguranje Rijeka. The Croatian basketball record champions Cibona Zagreb undertook Kus from the 2000/01 season. There he remained until the season 2003/04. 2004 saw a brief move to Greece for basketball club AEK Athens. As of 2005, Kus moved again back to Cibona Zagreb, where he was active until the 2007 season. The 2007/ 08 led Kus to Spain to CB Málaga. For the season 2008/ 09 was Davor Kus by Cibona Zagreb of CB Málaga borrowed. Prior Kus is in the squad of the Croatian national basketball team.

  • 2001 Euro League Opening Tournament winner with Cibona Zagreb

Croatian national basketball team

Prior Kus was used internationally in the squad of the Croatian U -22 national basketball team at the 1998 European Basketball Championship for the first time. This was followed by international forces in the European Basketball Championship 2007 in Spain and the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in China.
