Davorin Jenko

Davorin Jenko ( born November 9, 1835 in Dvorje, today Cerklje na Gorenjskem, Slovenia, † November 25, 1914 in Ljubljana) was a composer and conductor.

Davorin Jenko composed the music of the Serbian national anthem Bože Pravde and the former Slovenian national anthem Naprej zastava slave. The latter is in use in the Slovenian Army. The former is since 2003 the official national anthem of Serbia.
