Dawn Addams

Dawn Addams ( born September 21, 1930 in Felixstowe; † 7 May 1985 in London; born Victoria Dawn Addams ) was a British actress.

Life

The Captain James Ramage Addams daughter lost her mother early and spent her childhood in England, except in the U.S. and in Calcutta, India. She was trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art as an actress and went to Hollywood in 1950, where she was the first time in some smaller roles such as in the dance film classic Singin ' lucky star in the thriller The Hour of 13 leading actress. She also took part in a tour to support troops during the Korean War.

In 1954 she returned to Europe and married in the same year Don Massimo Vittorio Emanuele, Prince of Roccasecca. Her son, Prince Stefano Massimo was born on 10 January 1955. 1956 Charles Chaplin gave her the female lead in his satirical film A King in New York.

Addams continued to participate in major and minor roles of European thrillers, horror and spy movies with, then also in TV series and on London's theaters, where she performed The Wild Duck, among others, in performances of a musical about Peter Pan and the spectacle.

In September 1974, she married her second husband Jimmy White. At the beginning of the 1980s, she ended her career and shuttled between America and Europe. Most of the time she spent in her estate in Malta and made as hostess talked about.
