Dayao County

Dayao county (大姚县; Pinyin: Xiàn Dayao ) is a circle, which belongs to the administrative area of Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture in north-central China's Yunnan province. It has an area of 4146 km ² and has 280,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large village Jinbi (金碧 镇).

The White Pagoda of Dayao ( Baita Dayao大 姚 白塔) is on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 2001.
