DBS Bank

The DBS Bank (The Development Bank of Singapore Limited新加坡 发展 银行), headquartered in Singapore, is the largest bank in Southeast Asia. It was founded in 1968, led by the local government development financial institution and renamed in July 2003 DBS Bank Limited (星 展 银行). The Bank is listed on the Singapore Exchange in the Straits Times Index.

Temasek Holdings, together with the belonging to it Maju Holdings is the largest shareholder of the bank. The government has therefore still a major influence on the institution.

DBS Bank has offices in China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, the United Kingdom and the United States.
