De'Longhi

De'Longhi is a company founded in 1902, Italian company with headquarters in Treviso. From the former craft operation, De'Longhi has quickly developed into a major supplier of individual components for the home appliance industry.

History

In 1977, the current president, Dr. Giuseppe De'Longhi, the management of the company and set it out on the production and sales of mobile heating, air conditioning and home appliances under its own brand De'Longhi.

Under this umbrella brand, the Group combines numerous subsidiaries. With the acquisition of English brand Kenwood in 2001 De'Longhi was perceived internationally.

De'Longhi since July 2001, a publicly traded company ( De'Longhi Spa).

On 18 April 2007 a ​​terrible fire destroyed the plant in Treviso.

Today De'Longhi has nine manufacturing plants in Northern Italy, which finished over six million units of the different product areas per year. About 7,000 employees generated in 2010 a turnover of 1.626 billion euros in 80 exporting countries.

2012 De'Longhi acquired by Procter & Gamble, the rights of the German brand Braun for certain household appliances.
