De Gasparis (crater)

30.9

De Gas Paris is an impact crater on the western limb of the Moon front, west of Mare Humorum, southeast of the crater Cavendish and southwest of Liebig.

What is striking is the highly eroded crater by the moon groove system of gas Rimae de Paris, the furrow the crater rim as well as the interior overlapping each other.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Italian astronomer Annibale de Gas in Paris.
