The stadium De Geusselt is a football stadium in the north of the Dutch city of Maastricht, the capital of the province of Limburg. The 1961 finished venue replaced the Stade De Boschpoort; in which the football club MVV Maastricht playing 51 years. The first game in the new stadium took place on 15 January 1962. The facility is located in the park De Geusselt. In the vicinity of the home of MVV Maastricht are several larger and smaller soccer fields and hockey pitches. The stadium now has a seating capacity of 10,000 covered seats.

The stadium was renovated several times since its opening. First major renovation work was in the 1980s, the removal of the track around the field and newly seat grandstands; but the capacity reduced. Moreover, the turf has been rotated 90 degrees. The early 2000s, the corners of the stadium were closed and converted the last standing in a seat rank. In the corners of the stadium and on the backs of the grandstands office buildings are available; in which companies have settled.
