Automobiles De La Chapelle is a French small-scale manufacturers of automobiles.

Prehistory

The Frenchman Xavier De La Chapelle is a descendant of the family that established in the same place in 1907 in the company De la Chapelle Frères et Compagnie automobiles. In 1975 he founded Automobiles stimulation. In this company he created 1978-1982 vehicles that were marketed as stimulation.

Company History

In 1985 he founded the new company Automobiles De La Chapelle Saint- Chamond near Lyon. The first model was based on the model of stimulation. The brand name is De La Chapelle. In 1996 the company was renamed in D.L.C. Technologies and 1997 in Barre et Associés.

Road vehicles

De La Chapelle Roadster 55

This model dates back to the model of stimulation. The model, which is still produced virtually unchanged, is an open two-seater and looks similar to the Bugatti 55 of 1932. It is powered by a six cylinder engine from BMW.

De La Chapelle 55 Tourer

Since 1990, this model complements the offerings. It is an extended version of the De La Chapelle Roadster 55 and can accommodate 2 2 persons.

De La Chapelle Atalante 57 S

This model was introduced at the 1992 Geneva Motor Show. It is similar with its coupe body the Bugatti 57 S Atalante of 1936.

De La Chapelle Grand Prix

This model was also introduced in 1992. It resembles the Bugatti racing car of 1923. It is an open two-seater, which is also equipped with a BMW engine, and is produced to order only.

De La Chapelle Roadster

Presented in 1996, this model has been produced since 1998. It has a modern two-seat roadster body of the designer Bertrand Barré. There are four-cylinder engines with 1998 cc engine capacity and six-cylinder engines with 2946 cc capacity used. The engines are mounted transversely behind the seats, so in mid-engine layout.

Concept car
