De Ven

The Grade II listed lighthouse De Ven is on the dike of the IJsselmeer in the Dutch village Oosterdijk about four miles from Enkhuizen. The tower has a height of 15 meters and a height of fire of 17 meters.
History
The tower was built in 1699-1700 and is one of the oldest lighthouses in the Netherlands. After a fire in 1819, the tower was repaired. Since 1966, the lighthouse is a listed building.
