Dead Infection
Dead Infection (English: Dead Infection ) is a Polish Goregrind band from Białystok. The lyrics of the band act, inter alia, auto accidents. The lyrics read like police reports.
Band History
The band was founded in 1990 under the name Front terror. Soon after, the name was changed to Dead Infection. Particularly influential in the orientation of the music was the British band Carcass. After the two demos the band received a recording contract with the German label Morbid Records. The 1995 released album "A Chapter Of Accidents " is about the macabre and grotesque, but the real causes of death. On this album, Yaroslav was to hear the first time. Through the use of a " pitch shifter " the voice sounded distorted, deep and monstrous. In autumn 1996, they went with Haemorrhage (Spain) and CSSO (Japan) on the Tour " Grind Over Europe " which took place since several years. There was a long period of rest to Jaro and Co.
Dead Infection dissolved in 1999 and closed in 2003 back together and are the label Obliteration Records. The 2006 released album " Brain Corrosion" was not commercially successful, why Jaro left the band. The band members Tocha and Jaro were already in the long dormancy of the Quartet, between "A Chapter ..." and " Brain Corrosion" the Goregrind band " Coffee Grinders " that puts more emphasis on humorous song design and self-irony. After Jaros leaving no suitable successor has been found, and so it was agreed that the guitarist should do the vocals alternately.
