Dean Kennedy

Edward Dean Kennedy ( born January 17, 1963 in Redvers, Saskatchewan ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who is in during his active career, among others, 1982-1995 for the Los Angeles Kings, New York Rangers, Buffalo Sabres, Winnipeg Jets and Edmonton Oilers the National Hockey League has played at the position of the defender.

Career

Kennedy began his junior career in 1979 at the Weyburn Red Wings Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, before he well for two years on the Brandon Wheat Kings moved to the Western Hockey League in the summer of 1980. During this time the defender was selected in the second round of the NHL Entry Draft in 1981 ranked 39th by the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League.
