Dean Paul Martin
Dean Paul Martin ( born November 17, 1951 in Santa Monica, California, † March 21, 1987 at the San Gorgonio Mountain, California ) was an American tennis player and actor.
Life
The son of Dean Martin and his second wife Jeanne Bigger played at the age of eleven, tennis tournaments, where he was coached by Pancho Segura. Later he founded with his friends Desi Arnaz Jr. and Billy Hinsche under the name Dino, Desi & Billy a Popformation that with I'm a Fool could celebrate their biggest hit in 1965.
While studying at the University of Los Angeles, he took his tennis career back on and played among other things on the side of Jimmy Connors at the NCAA Championships. This made it Martin at # 115 of the tennis world rankings.
After two semesters, he abandoned his studies, tried his hand as a semi-professional American football, as a racer and always returned to the tennis.
He also took on small roles in the film. He had his biggest film role in 1979 in addition to Ali MacGraw in game of love, played in the tennis environment. A wide audience he was traveling also known for his starring role in the U.S. series The Specialists. For his artistic work Martin was nominated for a Golden Globe.

Dean Paul Martin was married twice; 1971-1978 emerged in his first marriage to actress Olivia Hussey, from a son (Alexander Gunther Martin, born February 12, 1972) and from 1982 to 1984 in second marriage with the skater Dorothy Hamill. Both marriages ended in divorce.
