Deathprod

Deathprod (Helge Sten, born January 26, 1971 in Røros ) is a Norwegian jazz, rock and ambient musician and music producer.

Sten which is active under the name Deathprod since 1991, works as a musician, especially with electro- acoustic instruments such as ring modulators, tape recordings and the theremin, he also plays guitar. He became a member of the rock band Motorpsycho, with whom he recorded the album Demon Box 1993.

In 1994, he released his first solo album Treetop Drive, two years later, his second album followed Imaginary Songs from Tristan da Cunha. In 1997, he performed at the Bergen Jazz Festival with the group on Veslefrekk, Arve Henriksen of, Ståle Storløkken and Jarle Vespestad belonged. In the same year he took with the group, which called itself the new line Supersilent, the Tripelalbum Supersilent 1-3 on; in the following years until 2010, the albums Super Silent 4 appeared to 11

With Biosphere ( Geir Jenssen ) published Sten, 1998, the album Nordheim Transformed, 2004 he released his album Morals and Dogma, 2006, the remix album 6 -track. As a producer, he remained the group Motorpsycho connected.
