Deba (river)

The Deba (Basque, Spanish: Río Deva ) is a river in the Spanish Basque Country. It rises in the western part of the Sierra de Elgea. Its source is located south of the town Leintz - Gatzaga on the border of the provinces of Álava and Gipuzkoa. From there it flows in a northerly direction after named him Comarcas Debagoiena (Spanish: Alto Deva "Upper Deba " ) and Debabarrena (Spanish: Bajo Deva " Lower Deba " ) to the west of Gipuzkoa before it in after 58 km in town Deba the Bay of Biscay flows.
