Deborah Hannah Pontes Nunes ( born March 14, 1993, Recife ) is a Brazilian handball player who belonged to the squad of the Brazilian national team.
Career
Deborah Nunes is a member of the squad of the Brazilian team Metodista / São Bernardo. The backcourt player won the Brazilian championship with Metodista 2012. A year later, it was enough for Metodista only for runner-up title.
Deborah Nunes ran initially on the Brazilian junior national team and was subsequently included in the squad of the national team. With the Brazilian selection in the summer of 2013 she took part in the Pan Championship, when Brazil won the title. In December of the same year she ran for her country at the World Championships in Serbia. There Nunes scored eleven goals in nine games and won the world title.
