Debra Mooney

Debra Mooney ( born August 28, 1947 in Aberdeen, South Dakota, USA) is an American actress.

Mooney grew up in Ellendale, North Dakota. She graduated from the University of Minnesota.

Her film career began in 1979 with the Neil Simon comedy The second chapter. She then played in several popular movies, changed in the 90s but then to television, where she in large and small guest roles in numerous television series such as Roseanne, a strong family, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air or Emergency Room - The emergency room to be seen. Her most famous role was that of Edna Abbott Harper in the series Everwood.

Mooney is married to the well-known stage director and producer Porter Van Zandt.
