Debralee Scott

Debralee Scott ( born April 2, 1953 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, † April 5, 2005 in Amelia Iceland, Florida) was an American film actress.

Biography

Born the youngest of three sisters grew up on Scott in Stroudsburg (Pennsylvania), where she appeared as a cheerleader in school. Shortly after her 18th birthday in 1971, Scott offered her first role in Dirty Harry.

Also in supporting roles, she appeared in 1973 in American Graffiti and the 1974 earthquake. In 1978, she auditioned for the role of Marty in Grease before, but had to leave the role of this time more widely known actress Dinah Manoff. In 1984 she was appointed to her most famous role in the film comedy Police Academy with Mrs. Fackler. Two years later, in 1986, she returned in the third part of this role again back to the canvas.

In 1989, Scott moved from the Acting returned to private life and settled in New York City. Like its sister Jerilynn Scott was also Debralee Scott Talent Scout for acting talent in the New York area. In 2001 she gave her engagement to John Dennis Levi, a police officer of the Port Authority, known, who was killed in the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001.

In March 2005, Scott moved from New York City to Amelia Iceland, there to take care of her ailing sister Carol Anne, a film producer, who was also active in a number of films by Robert Altman as a producer. Shortly after their arrival at Amelia Iceland Scott fell into a coma from which she awoke a few days later again. On 2 April 2005 her 52nd birthday, she was released.

Three days later, Scott died during a nap. An autopsy of the actress remained inconclusive.
