Debtocracy

Debtocracy (Greek Χρεοκρατία Chreokratia, literally rule the debt ) is a Greek documentary from the year 2011 by Katerina Kitidi and Aris Chatzistefanou. The film deals with the causes of the sovereign debt crisis in Greece and potential - not accounted for by the government - solutions, including the issue of odious debts ( debts despicable ).

The title refers to the fact that Greece is caught in the debt crisis in the debt. The debt would put as the de facto government even constitutional principles and democracy suspended.

The film is under the Creative Commons license. He treats next to the Greek debt problem also previous debt problems in Argentina and Ecuador.
