Debub Region

Debub ( Tigrinya ዞባ ደቡብ, Italian Regione del Sud, to German South region ) is a region ( Zoba ) Eritrea with about 1,088,000 inhabitants.

Its capital is Mendefera ( Adi Ugri ).

Geography

The region lies on the southern border of the country, bordering Ethiopia. It consists of the districts Keyh Adi, Adi Qala, Areza, Dbarwa, Dekemhare, Kudo Be'ur, Mai- Mne, Mendefera, Segeneiti, Senafe and Tserona.
