Debundscha

Province

Debundscha is a place in the south-western region of the Republic of Cameroon.

It is located at the foot of Mount Cameroon at its southwestern slope and is located directly opposite the South Atlantic Ocean on the Cameroonians coast.

Debundscha was for a long time known as the wettest city in the African continent due to the super- heavy annual rainfall, which she learned, but the rain records indicate that the city is behind the city Ureka, on the island of Bioko in Equatorial Guinea -. History

The German colonial rulers installed as part of the infrastructural construction of the German colony of Kamerun a lighthouse in Debundscha in 1904.
