Deer Trail is a Statutory Town in Arapahoe County in Colorado. It is located on Interstate 70, about 89 kilometers east of Denver.
The city dates back to a stop on the Kansas Pacific Railway; it was a turning point for livestock and food. The Great Depression and a flood in 1965 severely hit the city. International made headlines the place in 2013 with a proposal to shoot surveillance drones.
