Deformity

A deformity is a larger deviation of the shape of the body or a body part of the regular appearance. A prenatal deformity is also called malformation.

You can have different prenatal or postnatal reasons:

• Gene mutation
• Birth complications
• Growth disturbance ( acromegaly, stunting )
• Any hormone disorder ( goiter )
• Major injuries (burning, scalding)
• Sequelae (stem, smoker's leg )
• Arthritis
• Rheumatism

• Malformation
