Deivid de Souza ( born October 22, 1979 in Nova Iguaçu, Brazil) is a Brazilian footballer who is since September 2012 in Coritiba FC under contract.

Career

He played in his youth in his native town and at Joinville ES. After Deivid showed good performance in Joinville, he transferred to Sport Club Corinthians Paulista São Paulo.

There was Zdeněk Zeman, then coach of U.S. Lecce, noticed him and took Deivid to Italy. Here he remained only a short time and returned in the same year to Brazil and joined the FC Santos. After two seasons, he moved in 2001 within the League to SC Corinthians Paulista, where he remained until the end of 2002.
