DejaGnu

DejaGnu is a framework for testing other programs. It has a main script called runtest that searches a directory for a configuration file, and then goes through some tests with predetermined criteria. The purpose of the DejaGnu package is to provide a single interface for all tests. It is part of the GNU Project and is licensed under the GPL. DejaGnu based on expect, an automation and testing tool for Unix; this in turn is based on Tcl. The current maintainer is Rob Savoye and Ben Elliston.
